The Travel EXC desrves the best: a lightweight, efficient, comfortable and durable aluminium frame. It’s a 29er-inspired design with clearance for tyres up to 2.25in, which translates into superb comfort, grip and puncture resistance. The tapered head tube and rigid aluminium fork provide precise handling at any speed, even when fully laden. We welded the double butted aluminium tubeset using our proprietary Smooth Welding technique at the head and seat tube junctions, giving the frame an organic appearance that you’ll love. With the new, neater rack mounting setup and internally routed cables, its clean looks belie the attention to detail that we’ve lavished on it. The 3D forged dropout provides a strong mount for the included kickstand, there’s a pair of bottle cage mounts and, as you’d expect, our in-house test lab has tested the Travel EXC way beyond the safety standards we expect.
