Continental Sprinter GatorSkin Tubular 700c Tyre

This is the Continental Sprinter Gatorskin Tubular Road Tyre. A high mileage, all weather tubular. It is Continental’s tubular tyre for “getting the miles in”. The tubular version of the extremely popular Ultra Gatorskin clincher. This tubular tyre inherits the best qualities from this tyre. The nylon/aramid belt provides lightweight effective protection against urban debris whilst keeping the tyre flexible. Continental have also included their patented, lightweight side wall protection -Duraskin. This is an extremely durable polyamide mesh that protects the extra-fine, high performance casing from cuts, punctures and abrasion. Duraskin provides lightweight durability, at less than 10g per tyre, it has a very high strength to weight ratio meaning that cyclists benefit from superb anti tear protection whilst still experiencing lightweight performance from their tyres. The professional riders use a similar combination in their tyres for Paris – Roubaix and other equipment destroying classics in the springtime.
